Excellence in Language, Literacy and Numeracy Practice Award

The webinar will assist LLN practitioners address the selection criteria, and apply for, the 2017 Australian Training Awards’ Excellence in Language, Literacy and Numeracy Practice Award.

The Excellence in Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) Practice Award recognises innovation and excellence by an individual involved in improving LLN skills in an education, community or workplace context.

The webinar will be hosted by Velg Training and the Australian Training Awards together with the 2016 winner of this award, Ms Isabel Osuna-Gatty and Mr David Tout, Senior Research Fellow at the Australian Council for Education and Research. Mr Tout has also been a past judge on this category.

This webinar will be complimentary to all attendees.

    • Understanding of the award process from lodging the application through to the shortlisting to the judging day

    • What might be expected of finalists particularly at the national event
    • The benefits of applying and participating in the awards (regardless of the outcome) including the prestige and reputation the beholds finalists and winners of the awards (both domestically and on an international stage)
