Velg Training is dedicated to keeping your details private. Any information collected in relation to you is kept strictly secured. Velg Training does not pass on/sell/exchange any of your personal details with any individual, company or government organisation. Velg Training will only use this information to identify your orders, provide you with correspondence (where applicable) and to personalise your purchasing experience. Velg Training uses cookies to allow you to login to your account, maintain a shopping cart and to purchase items in your shopping cart. Cookies sent to your computer from Velg Training only remain while you are browsing the website. Velg Training does not store persistent cookies on a client’s computer. Cookies also allow Velg Training to give clients a more personalised shopping experience by displaying products that may be of interest.
Whenever you use the Velg Training website, or any other website, the computer on which the web pages are stored (the web server) needs to know the network address of your computer so that it can send the requested web pages to your internet browser. The unique network address of your computer is called its ‘IP address’ and is sent automatically each time you access any internet site. From a computer's IP address, it is possible to determine the general geographic location of that computer, but otherwise it is anonymous. Velg Training does not keep a record of the IP addresses from which clients access our website except where a client has specifically provided information (in which case we may also record your IP address for security purposes). For example, when proceeding to a checkout to finalise an order a client may wish to make, after completing the form provided, your IP address will be stored along with a transaction number that allows Velg Training to track the order.
IMAGE PERMISSION TAKEN AT EVENTS
In agreeing to Velg Training’s terms and conditions for attending or presenting at an event, you give permission for Velg Training to potentially use your image for marketing purposes, which includes both print and web use.
Terms and conditions specifically pertaining to image permission as agreed to by you are as follows:
I hereby assign to you full copyright of any photographs/videos taken at Velg Training events, together with the right of reproduction either wholly or in part, either separately or together, with any retouching, copying, adaptation, alteration or manipulation, and in any medium, in any country worldwide. You and your licensees or assignees may have unrestricted use of these for whatever purpose you may think fit, including advertising, editorial and public display.
I agree that the above mentioned photographs/videos and/or reproductions shall be deemed to represent an imaginary person and further agree that you or any person authorised by or acting for you may use these photographs/videos or any reproductions of them for any purpose including illustrating any wording which you or they may decide, and agree that no wording shall be considered to be attributed to me personally, but to an imaginary person.
I understand that I do not own the prints, negatives, transparencies, videos or copyright of the images and no payments are due to me in respect of them. I have read this permission form carefully and fully understand its meanings and implications.
USE OF FEEDBACK FOR MARKETING PURPOSES
When accepting the terms and conditions of attending an event (workshop, webinar, National VET Conference, VET Summit or other special events that may occur from time to time), you agree that any comments (written or submitted points) that you detail in our online feedback survey, can be used in any promotional material that Velg Training deems as acceptable. To ensure the integrity of those comments, Velg Training will reference either your full name or organisation name or both.
SUBSCRIBER EMAIL LIST
In registering for any Velg Training event or membership subscription, you agree to be added to our subscriber database, where you will receive notification emails of Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector updates, upcoming professional development and consulting opportunities and additional special offers from Velg Training on a weekly basis. If you have subscribed by mistake, or would like to remove yourself from this list in future, you are welcome to unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in future subscriber email communications.
SECURITY
When purchasing from Velg Training, financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology. The 128-bit SSL encryption is approximated to take at least one trillion years to break, and is the industry standard.
