Suggested Evidence for a Delegation Audit

To reduce the regulatory burden on Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) has been allowing some high performing RTOs to manage their own scope of registration through a delegation arrangement. As part of this arrangement, RTOs are required to develop and implement a documented quality assurance system to enable compliance with VET regulatory functions and operations as well as the VET Quality Framework.

If you are one of these RTOs that has a delegation are you meeting your obligations in relation to compliance with your delegation agreement? This workshop will discuss the arrangements that need to be in place, how to measure your performance against the delegation agreement and suggestions for the evidence that is required at audit.

Key topics covered in the session

This workshop will:

  • Closely examine each of the requirements of the Delegation Agreement associated with the Quality Assurance System (QAS) you have designed, planned, monitored and reviewed.
  • Focus on how you have implemented your QAS and identify a range of options available for your RTO to provide evidence that supports the control of the management of your scope of registration.
  • Identify any evidence gaps that exist and discuss opportunities for future improvement of your QAS.
