5Ws and H of Validation - the 'Big V'

25 July 2017
ONLINE

As the first deadline for validation mandated by the Standards for RTOs draws close, it is a perfect time to revitalise your understanding of the requirements. By using the 5Ws and H we can tease apart the legislative jargon and formulate a practical, logical plan for ensuring assessments are doing what they are supposed to.

This is not a session on ‘how to’ validate, rather, it aims to confirm understanding of validation and the associated legal requirements for RTOs. It is an ideal PD choice for newcomers to the VET sector and/or practitioners wanting to assimilate various ideas to round out their own practices.

Key topics covered within the webinar

  • Defining and clarifying validation
  • Using the Standards for RTOs 2015 to determine what is required – including any changes brought about by the Standards for RTOs Amendment 2017
