This brand new workshop has been developed to enhance the capability of VET practitioners in the development of competency based assessment. It specifically focuses on the steps to unpack the unit of competency and to develop the assessment model to address all of the unit requirements in accordance with the rules of evidence and the principles of assessment.

Clauses 1.1 - 1.4 of the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015 require RTOs to implement comprehensive Training and Assessment Strategies (TAS). All too often, we focus on this documentation existing for compliance purposes. While this is important, it is not the only reason why we use a TAS. This documentation is able to serve the purpose of telling the story of how training is being delivered and assessment conducted. Join us for this networking breakfast for an interactive presentation on how a TAS can be used within your RTO along with an opportunity for members to share their ideas with each other.
