  ASQA: Online learning in the VET sector

As outlined in the Regulatory Strategy 2020-22, the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) is undertaking a strategic review of online learning in the vocational education and training (VET) sector. This strategic review was prompted by the significant number of providers who shifted delivery online in response to the circumstances created by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The National Centre for Vocational Education Research has released a paper which unpacks issues and challenges that require strategic and comprehensive interventions to shift the tenor of the quality delivery debate in VET.
