Research messages is a summary of research produced by NCVER each year. This year’s compilation includes a range of research activities undertaken during 2022, comprising of research reports, summaries, infographics - both static and interactive, occasional papers, presentations, webinars, consultancies, submissions, the 31st National Vocational Education and Training Research Conference 'No Frills', and various additions to VOCEDPLUS knowledge resources.

Institute in Educational Research (IIER) - reports and articles (site link)

Issues in Educational Research is a refereed academic research journal founded by the Western Australian Institute for Educational Research in 1991. From 1995, IIER has been published jointly by Australia's Institutes for Educational Research in New South Wales, South Australia and Western Australia.

ACER: Vocational and adult education research (site link)

ACER undertakes a broad range of research and program consultancies in youth and adult education, vocational and workforce education contexts in Australia and globally for institutions, industry, governments and a wide range of stakeholders. Research in vocational, adult and workplace education addresses core skills, adult language, literacy and numeracy, careers and vocational interest assessments, curriculum and standards development, quality and bench-marking services, teaching and learning consultancies, policy and program evaluation, surveys on pathways and transitions, psychometric and statistical analysis, and selection testing.

An Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) research report that provides findings from a study on the attitudes and experiences of non-users and limited adult users of digital media and communications within Australia

NCVER: VET for secondary school students: a research synthesis (2022)

This paper focuses on reasons for choosing and participating in VET programs delivered in schools; models of delivery; quality of delivery; and outcomes, both short and medium-term, from these programs. Current knowledge gaps are identified with areas for further research suggested.
