The Velg Training VET Directory is a searchable database of organisations and consultants that specialise in Vocational Education and Training (VET) products and services. Our aim is to provide a resource for finding a wide range of products that can be browsed by specific search parameters.
Please choose carefully. Velg Training does not provide refunds if you simply change your mind or choose the wrong service/product. All transactions are processed in AUD.
Clients may choose between a refund in instances where services/products are faulty, have been wrongly described, or are different to the service/product advertised for purchase on the website. In relation to purchased professional development services, via either face-to-face or electronic mediums, cancellations must be made in writing to, and acknowledged by, a staff member at Velg Training.
Cancellations received and acknowledged at least 7 days prior to the commencement of a workshop will be entitled to a refund less an administration fee of $22.00 (including GST). No refunds will be provided if cancellation is made within 7 days of the workshop, however substitute delegates will be welcome upon written notice to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Minimum attendee numbers are required for all workshops to proceed and Velg Training reserve the right to cancel or change the date of a scheduled workshop at anytime to ensure minimum numbers are met. Where cancellation or change of date to a workshop occurs, you will be contacted directly by a Velg Training staff member.
Cancellations received and acknowledged at least 30 days prior to the commencement of any conference will be entitled to a refund less an administration fee of 20% of the registration fees paid. No refunds will be provided if cancellation is made within 30 days of any conference, however a substitute delegate will be welcome upon written notice to email@example.com.
Velg Training requires name changes for any conference no later than 2 weeks prior the commencement of any conference to ensure that personalised names tags reflect the substitute delegate. If a substitute delegate is received within 2 weeks of any conference, the substitute delegate will not receive a personalised name tag, but rather a generic name tag with a label attachment.
Registrations for any Velg Training conference close 2 weeks prior to the commencement of any conference. Registrations can still be taken after this date, however the request will need to be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. Upon receipt of the new registration, a manual invoice will be raised. This will mean that the new delegate will not receive a personalised name tag, but rather a generic name tag with a label attachment.
In the event that the Conference/Exhibition/Event is cancelled or delayed through no fault Velg Training and/or the venue operator including but not limited to fire, flood, labour disputes, natural disasters, acts of God(s), government directions, civil disorders, riots, insurrections, work stoppages, slow downs or disputes, or other similar events then the Exhibitor/Sponsor/Event Attendee shall not be entitled to any refund or claim for any loss or damage.
Event attendees are strongly advised to secure appropriate travel and health insurance. Event attendee registration fees do not provide any such insurance coverage.

These Products are for the named person only (i.e.: the person who puts the product into their shopping cart is the person who is allocated access to the product). If you require another member of your organisation to have access to the product, the product must be purchased in that person's name. All Velg Training Products are designed for use on Office 2010 and Adobe Reader. If you do not have Adobe Reader a free version can be downloaded from www.adobe.com (note to Mac users - fillable pdf documents will not work as intended if using Preview, Adobe Reader must be used).

Delegates have the right to request that we test the program with them before you register and pay. Once registered, delegates must use the unique URL provided to complete the online orientation process and should test the program with their systems prior to the webinar. Velg Training is not responsible for delegates that are unable to access the webinar platform and have not tested their system a minimum of 24 hours prior to the commencement of a webinar.
Each webinar registration is for the named person only. Each registered delegate must log onto the webinar platform using the provided unique URL, their own personal details and their own individual operating system at the time of the webinar, in order to be issued a Statement of Attendance and electronic resources. All paid webinar registrations receive electronic resources within approximately 48 hours after the webinar concludes. People who are not registered for the webinar, but listen in with a colleague, are not entitled to a Statement of Attendance or electronic resources.
In agreeing to Velg Training's terms and conditions for attending a webcam based event, you give permission for Velg Training to use your image for the purpose of providing attendees of that event with a recording of the event as part of the post event resources.

Once registration for a Velg2Go course has occurred, you will be sent a confirmation link via email (just like any other Velg Training event). This link will connect participants (through single sign in) to the Canvas platform. Delegates will need to 'allow' canvas to access/recognise their Velg Training profile to sign in. The email address and password used for Velg Training will automatically become the log in details for Canvas.
There are some basic computer specifications for the Canvas LMS platform which can be found https://www.velgtraining.com/events/827/tech-requirements. Velg Training recommends confirming computer specifications and mobile app compatibility prior to the course, and take no liability for incompatibility of devices.
Some Velg2Go courses will require participants to use Google Drive or OneDrive to collaborate on activities. This will require delegates to have access to a Google or OneDrive account to participate in these activities.
1 week prior to the course commencement date, the canvas platform will be open for orientation. There is brief orientation video for you to watch that will take delegates step by step through the features and functions available to you in Velg2Go.
After the course has been finalised, a certificate of participation will be emailed to delegates who took part in the course (please note that if delegates did not take part in the course, even if registered, a certificate cannot be issued to due to non-participation) along with a copy of the PDF files of PowerPoint presentations that have been used. If for reasons beyond their control, a delegate is unable to participate in the course, and that same course is running again within a 6-month period, participants may ‘re-enrol’ in the course and pay a 50% re-enrolment fee. Delegates in these circumstances must inform Velg Training in writing and receive confirmation from Velg Training of this course of action. This will ensure that Velg Training are able to transfer the re-enrolment to the next course, pending availability and at Velg Training’s discretion.
By purchasing membership, you agree that you are signing up to an ongoing yearly subscription however this subscription is not automatically charged at the renewal date. The renewal date will be 12 months from the equivalent commencement date. Membership fees do not include free entry to Velg Training workshops, national/state conferences or other events however, discounted rates apply to all members.
Membership is valid for 12 months from the joining date (renewal notices are sent by email 28 days, 7 days and 1 day prior to the membership expiration date). If renewal notices are not actioned and payment for continuing the membership subscription is not received by the due date, your membership will be automatically terminated.
Individual or individual plus membership subscriptions entitle the named individual only to have to access to the online Knowledge Hub and Member Profile, receive the member newsletter and be eligible for member discounts.
Where an organisation purchases an individual or individual plus membership for an employee and that employee leaves the organisation, the membership is deemed to be owned by the organisation. The membership can be transferred to another staff member on written application and acknowledgement by a staff member at Velg Training (email is acceptable), where that written application indicates that the person from whom the membership is being transferred from no longer works for the organisation or has changed roles. All professional development purchased prior to the transfer under the membership will remain with the original member. If the organisation wishes to obtain this professional development, they need to advise a staff member of Velg Training prior to the transfer of members occurring. Cancelled Velg Training membership are non-refundable.
Corporate or corporate plus membership can only be purchased by individual organisations (i.e. that hold their own RTO number or ABN). Large ‘umbrella’ organisations comprising multiple RTOs cannot purchase one membership, e.g. an individual TAFE institute is the member rather than the state-wide TAFE operator and organisations in partnership agreements must both hold separate corporate or corporate plus memberships, as per the RTO registration on training.gov.au.
Sibling accounts can be added to the corporate or corporate plus membership extending the benefits of the membership to their team. To be added to the membership these sibling accounts must be paid either as PAYG staff or contract trainers/assessors by the named corporate member. Contracted consultants must hold individual or individual plus membership in their own right.
Upon receipt of advice of cancellation of a subscription, Velg Training will ensure that the subscription remains in effect until the scheduled renewal date and will then process termination on that day.
If these terms and conditions are not adhered to Velg Training reserves the right to cancel the membership at any time.
Whenever you use the Velg Training website, or any other website, the computer on which the web pages are stored (the web server) needs to know the network address of your computer so that it can send the requested web pages to your internet browser. The unique network address of your computer is called its ‘IP address’ and is sent automatically each time you access any internet site. From a computer's IP address, it is possible to determine the general geographic location of that computer, but otherwise it is anonymous. Velg Training does not keep a record of the IP addresses from which clients access our website except where a client has specifically provided information (in which case we may also record your IP address for security purposes). For example, when proceeding to a checkout to finalise an order a client may wish to make, after completing the form provided, your IP address will be stored along with a transaction number that allows Velg Training to track the order.
We may disclose some or all of your personal information to third parties with whom we may collaborate for events or training sessions, service providers providing services such as marketing or IT management. In the case of the National VET Conference, disclosure of your personal information to Sponsors and Presenters of the event will occur for marketing purposes. If you do NOT wish to have your details provided to Sponsors or Presenters, please OPT-OUT HERE Velg Training may disclose your personal information to overseas recipients for support and assistance as it uses cloud-based internet applications that are hosted outside of Australia for its operational business platform.

You and your licensees or assignees may have unrestricted use of these for whatever purpose you may think fit, including advertising, editorial and public display.
I agree that the above mentioned photographs/videos and/or reproductions shall be deemed to represent an imaginary person and further agree that you or any person authorised by or acting for you may use these photographs/videos or any reproductions of them for any purpose including illustrating any wording which you or they may decide, and agree that no wording shall be considered to be attributed to me personally, but to an imaginary person.
I understand that I do not own the prints, negatives, transparencies, videos or copyright of the images and no payments are due to me in respect of them. I have read this permission form carefully and fully understand its meanings and implications.
When accepting the terms and conditions of attending an event (workshop, webinar, National VET Conference or other special events that may occur from time to time), you agree that any comments (written or submitted points) that you detail in our online feedback survey, can be used in any promotional material that Velg Training deems as acceptable. To ensure the integrity of those comments, Velg Training will reference either your full name or organisation name or both.
In registering for any Velg Training event or follower subscription, you agree to be added to our database, where you will receive notification emails of Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector updates, upcoming professional development and consulting opportunities and additional special offers from Velg Training on a weekly basis. If you have subscribed by mistake, or would like to remove yourself from this list in future, you are welcome to unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in follower email communications.
