Refunds

Refund Policy

Please choose carefully. Velg Training does not provide refunds if you simply change your mind or choose the wrong service/product. All transactions are processed in AUD. 

Clients may choose between a refund, exchange of Velg Cash (credit) in instances where services/prodicts are faulty, have been wrongfully described, or are different to the service/product advertised for purchase on the website. In relation to purchased professional development services, via either face-to-face or electronic mediums, cancellations must be made in writing to, and acknowledged by, a staff member at Velg Training.

If you receive Velg Cash from Velg Training for any event, service or subscription the Velg Cash will be valid for 12 months from the date as detailed on the Velg Cash deposit. 

Workshops

Cancellations received and acknowledged at least 7 working days before the commencement of a workshop will be entitled to a refund, less an administration fee of $22 (including GST). Where advice of the cancellation is not received 7 working days prior to the scheduled workshop, no refunds will apply; however substitute delegates will be welcome upon written notice to, and acknowledgement by, a staff member at Velg Training. Minimum delegate numbers are required for training to proceed and Velg Training reserves the right to cancel or change the date of a scheduled workshop to ensure minimum numbers are met. Where cancellation or change of date for a scheduled workshop occurs, you will be contacted directly by a staff member at Velg Training. 

Conferences

Cancellations received and acknowledged at least 30 working days before the commencement of any conference will be entitled to a refund, less an administration fee of 20% of the registration fees paid. Where advice of the cancellation is not received 30 working days prior to any conference, no refunds will apply; however substitute delegates will be welcome upon  written notice to, and acknowledgement by, a staff member at Velg Training.

VET Summit

Cancellations received and acknowledged at least 30 working days prior to the Summit will be entitled to a refund, less an administration fee of 20% of the registration fees paid. Where advice of the cancellation is not received 30 days prior to the Summit, no refund will apply; however substitute delegates will be welcome upon written notice to, and acknowledgement by, a staff member at Velg Training. 

Webinars

Cancellations received and acknowledged at least 5 working days before the commencement of a webinar will be entitled to a refund, less an administration fee of $22 (including GST). Where advice of the cancellation is not received 5 working days prior to the webinar, no refunds will apply; however substitute delegates will be welcome upon written notice to, and acknowledged by, a staff member at Velg Training. Customers have the right to request that we test their software prior to them registering and paying. Velg Training will not be held responsible if customers have not tested their system prior to the scheduled webinar.

Mentoring Program

Cancellations received and acknowledged at least 5 working days before the commencement of a webinar will be entitled to a refund, less an administration fee of $22 (including GST). Where advice of the cancellation is not received 5 working days prior to the webinar, no refunds will apply; however substitute delegates will be welcome upon written notice to, and acknowledged by, a staff member at Velg Training for an administration fee of $22 (including GST) per name change. Velg Training is not responsible for attendee management in the form of providing attendance records per session and emailing attendees encouraging them to participate in recordings after the event. Customers have the right to request that we test their software prior to them registering and paying. Velg Training will not be held responsible if customers have not tested their system prior to the scheduled webinar.

Live Stream

Cancellations received and acknowledged at least 5 working days before the commencement of a Live Stream event will be entitled to a refund, less an administration fee of $22 (including GST). When advice of the cancellation is not received 5 working days prior to the Live Stream, no refunds will apply; however substitute delegates will be welcome upon written notice to, and acknowledgement by, a staff member at Velg Training. Velg Training is are not held responsible if customers have not ensured their computer is up to date as per the system requirements. 

Membership

By purchasing membership, you agree that you are signing to an ongoing yearly subscription however this subscription is not automatically charged/invoiced at the renewal date. The renewal date will be 12 months from the equivalent commencement date. Membership fees do not include free entry to Velg Training workshops, national/ state conferences or other events however, discounted rates apply to all members.

Membership is valid for 12 months from the joining date (renewal notices are sent by email 28 days, 7 days and 1 day prior to the membership expiration date). If renewal notices are not actioned and payment for continuing the membership subscription is not received by the due date, your membership will be automatically terminated.

Individual membership subscriptions entitle the named individual only to have to access to the online Members Lounge, receive the member newsletter and be eligible for member discounts.

Where an organisation purchases an individual membership for an employee and that employee leaves the organisation, the membership is deemed to be owned by the organisation.  It can be transferred to another staff member on written application and acknowledgement by a staff member at Velg Training (email is acceptable), where that written application indicates that the person from whom the membership is being transferred from no longer works for the organisation or has changed roles.  Cancelled Velg Training membership is non-refundable.

Corporate membership can only be purchased by individual organisations. Large ‘umbrella’ organisations comprising multiple RTOs cannot purchase one membership, e.g. an individual TAFE institute is the member rather than the state-wide TAFE operator; organisations in partnership agreements must both hold separate corporate memberships.

Sibling accounts can be added to the corporate membership extending the benefits of the membership to their team. To be added to the membership these sibling accounts must be paid either as PAYG staff or contract trainers/assessors by the named corporate member.

Contract consultants must hold individual membership in their own right.

Upon receipt of advice of cancellation of a subscription, Velg Training will ensure that the subscription remains in effect until the scheduled renewal date and will then process termination on that day.

If these terms and conditions are not adhered to Velg Training reserves the right to cancel the membership at any time and provide a pro-rata refund of any membership monies spent.

Velg Cash

Velg Training does not provide refunds for Velg Cash. Velg Cash is only available for use within 12 months of purchases. Velg Cash can only be used for webinars, workshops, National VET Conference, Membership, VET Summit and products. Velg Cash is not redeemable for cash. Velg Cash can not be transferred to another person's name.

Resources

Resources, including VET Summit and Webinar recordings, are able to be streamed via GoToWebinar/GoToTraining for those who miss the live training or simply want to watch the training after purchasing. Attendees are unable to download the recordings for use in their organisation/RTO. The only available option for attendees is to stream the content. These recordings are for the named person only. If you are wanting another member of your organisation to have access to the recording, the resource must be purchased in that person's name. Velg Training is not able to provide a Certificate of Completion for any recording that is available for download.

All Velg Training products are designed for use on Office 2010 and Adobe Reader. If you do not have Adobe Reader a free version can be downloaded from www.adobe.com (note to Mac users - fillable pdf documents will not work as intended if using Preview, Adobe Reader must be used).
