Foundation skills need literacy support, and the responsibility of literacy development often falls to vocational educators. Not everyone is an English language teacher, though.

This session introduced a range of practical ideas to assist learners with new vocabulary and reiterate industry language and meta-language used in training so that learners can graduate with a higher level of literacy than when they commenced to help them thrive in the workplace.
