From 1 July 2025, Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) are required to meet the new conditions from changes to the Standards for RTOs.
This tool focuses specifically on the prescriptive requirements contained in the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator (Compliance Standards for NVR Registered Training Organisations and Fit and Proper Person Requirements) Instrument 2025
It gives a clear, actionable list of things an RTO should:
- Stop doing – because they were part of the old Standards for RTOs 2015
- Start doing – to meet the new requirements
Each section of the tool is aligned to areas within the Compliance Requirements where there are notable operational changes required.
