Assessors cannot always be present to collect evidence of student performance. This tool documents an agreed approach to evidence collection.

When an assessor cannot be present to collect student evidence of performance, another party may be able to assist by collecting evidence that is then handed over to an assessor for their judgement.

In cases like this, an agreement about the process and the responsibilities of the various roles involved in the process is beneficial.

This product gives a template for an Evidence Collection Agreement which can form an easy outline of what responsibilities the RTO (assessor) and third party will have and agree to when it comes to collecting evidence for the assessor's review.

This is a useful component of the RTO’s assessment system where third-party reports or evidence collected by third parties is relied upon.
