Recorded on the 04/06/2024. This 90-minute webinar acknolwedged that engaging a variety of diverse learners can be challenging.  This session provided an opportunity to explore how to use student experience and knowledge to foster learning in others.

It explored techniques to enhance learner engagement and participation through the use of two-way learning models. By acknowledging and appreciating students’ diverse backgrounds, experiences and knowledge, the classroom can become an inclusive and multi-modal learning environment.   Through the encouragement of learner participation in the teaching and learning process, and with the use of storytelling and shared experience, all learners can become mentors. This ownership fosters engagement and has been proven as a mechanism to improve student learning outcomes.
