Powerful Steps to Working Smarter for Your RTO: Do More & Stress Less

7 November 2019
ONLINE

What will be covered within the webinar

Dynamics of modern businesses are forever in a state of change. Whether you are scaling up and trying to maintain or improve efficiencies, scaling down and trying to reduce cost, or feel relatively stable, but need to drive better business outcomes, there is always a need to find opportunities for improvement to keep on the front foot and ahead of the pack.

We all know the clichés:

  • You need to work on your business not in your business!
  • You can’t see the wood for the trees!
  • You need to work on what’s important not just what’s urgent!

This webinar focuses on practical concepts and transferring the understanding on how they apply in real context, no clichés!

Rob will highlight some simple but powerful concepts to help you justify improvement efforts, identify the best opportunities, and drive real business outcomes.

With use of examples from typical RTOs and drawing on practical concepts that offer a paradigm shift to process improvement, you will understand:

  • Why efforts in the past may not have achieved the expected outcomes, and
  • How to identify, quantify and drive real business process improvement.

Aimed at RTO Owners or Managers, you’ll come out of this webinar armed and ready for action to make positive changes to your business, whatever your situation.

Rob Bright

Business Owner – not an RTO

Rob is the Founder and Managing Director of Cloud Assess, the award-winning pioneers of Digital Assessment in the VET sector.

Initially an engineer in manufacturing, Rob has built an extensive background in process, operational and quality management.

Stemming from this experience, Rob consulted internationally in an efficiency and operational management context. Working with iconic brands such as QANTAS and BHP Billiton and also provided consulting advice on behalf of the Australian Federal Government.

Rob’s passion for training and personal development has seen him involved extensively with the VET sector over the past decade. As a qualified Trainer and Assessor, his career has seen him register and manage RTO’s, and solicit and acquire funding contracts. Rob’s experience has been enriched at a hands-on level ranging from running apprenticeship programs and managing school based apprentices, through to developing training and assessment resources for his own RTO which he sold in 2015.

It was whilst running his RTO, that Rob identified the shortfall for a fit-for-purpose Digital Assessment Solution for the VET sector, and so Cloud Assess was born. Since 2012 Cloud Assess has grown from a great idea, to the leading solution for VET to facilitate digital training and assessment, encompassing all assessment requirements including third party engagement.
