During the COVID-19 crisis many RTOs repositioned their face-to-face training online. That ‘pivot’, whilst necessary, came with a range of other challenges. This included the selection of suitable and reliable technology, upskilling of staff in new delivery mediums, ensuring compliance with assessment conditions and funding contacts, as well as managing the expectations of learners, many of whom selected face-to-face pathways, as they felt they were not best suited to studying online.
As campuses start to reopen, there will be an urge to return to business as usual. However, there are many benefits that have come from the shifts and tweaks created in taking training online in 2020 that could be applied to existing and future programs.
Join Marc Ratcliffe, CEO and founder of MRWED Training and Assessment, a private RTO that specialises in Trainer Training and blended learning. In this webinar, he will triangulate the important considerations for blended learning and focus on finding the balance between sound educational practices, operational imperatives and regulatory compliance. It specifically looks at the ways that blended learning can be used to promote engagement and increase the flexibility and choice for students, whilst protecting the integrity of the relevant qualifications/credentials. It will also identify a 5-step formula for maximising your blended learning pathways.
This webinar will cover the following key topics:
