About this session

Whether you are delivering and assessing now online, remotely or via a blended approach, the current environment has increased the focus on remote methods of assessment. Sometimes, assessment at a distance is difficult to develop and to conduct! Based directly on the feedback from our Going Online event in April, this webinar has been designed to unpack further the options when it comes to assessing remotely.

It will explore the key things to consider when conducting your assessment to ensure an assessor can gather valid, sufficient, authentic and current evidence of competence (particularly in regards to a student demonstrating practical skills).

Join David Garner for this webinar as he takes a look at some of the options available to RTOs and discusses the benefits and challenges you may be facing when it comes to video evidence, evidence gathered by a third party or video conferencing options.

Key topics covered within the webinar

This webinar will cover the following key topics:

  • Common remote assessment methods and options
