A Learning Strategy (also known as a Training and Assessment Strategy) identifies the structure for the way in which a training product is delivered to learners and the way assessment will occur. This is not just something that is provided to the auditor, or to trainers so they know what they are delivering. It is a purposeful record that informs a range of administrative functions: from setting up a course in AVETMISS through to the scheduling of validation activities. This webinar unpacks the purpose of a learning strategy and provides specific guidance on how to design and develop one successfully. It will also shine a light on common non-compliances and offer advice on how to review the strategy, so it remains functional and up-to-date.
Alignment: This webinar presents some of the course content for the Unit of Competency TAEDES501 Design and develop learning strategies, which is a core unit in both the TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training and the TAE50216 Diploma of Training Design and Development.
