About this Webinar

Validation is an important responsibility for RTOs. However, it represents some of the highest non-compliances at audit. Engaging with industry stakeholders in the validation process is critical to ensuring assessment is aligned to current methods, technology, products, and performance expectations specified in the relevant training package or VET accredited course. Therefore, leading regular assessment validation is critical in developing strategies that are both industry-focused and aimed at informing improved assessment practices.

This webinar will provide specific advice for how to coordinate validation activities within an RTO environment, including working effectively with colleagues to systematically monitor assessment practice, undertaking risk assessment and analysis to determine the purpose, focus and context of validation activities, as well as supporting others through the validation process. In the end it will offer guidance on how to finalise documentation in keeping with required validation schedules

Alignment: This webinar presents some of the course content for the Unit of Competency TAEASS503 Lead assessment validation processes, which is an elective unit in both the TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training and the TAE50216 Diploma of Training Design and Development.

Key topics covered within the webinar
