The July 14th event has now reached capacity.

New session date available - August 25th

What is virtual training?

We want to ensure you have access to interactive experiences that will reinforce your practices in a simulated workshop environment. Virtual Training provides the capacity for longer, more in-depth content so you can build a rich connection to the featured topic.

Great content and activity-based interaction with our VET Experts, from the comfort of your home office.

About this Virtual Training Workshop

Sometimes the best way to solidify what we know is to go back to the basics!

Assessment is often the most common area of non-compliance in an RTO at audit, so what’s going on? Why do we keep getting things wrong?

Over the past 18 years, The ABC of CBA has been one of Velg Training’s most popular face-to-face workshops and we are proud to announce this timeless content is now available via our Virtual Training medium.

What makes Competency-Based Assessment ‘work’?

This 3-hour Virtual Training session training is designed for trainers and assessors who might be new to competency-based training and assessment or for seasoned professionals who want to get back to basics and are who are looking for a refresher in the fundamentals.

It explores the essentials of assessment in the VET sector including assessment and the ‘Big Picture’, the competency-based-assessment process; its features, relevant frameworks and methods, while also reviewing the assessor’s role, principles of assessment and rules of evidence.

Don’t miss this opportunity to be trained by the expert of all things CBA, John Dwyer, who shares his knowledge and expertise via the Zoom platform.
