ONLINE

This 90-minute session is one of five available during the 2021 National VET PD Week. This webinar includes 1 hour of content delivery PLUS  30 minute ‘Let’s talk about...’ component where your Live Questions, Questions on Notice and Frequently Asked Questions will be addressed by Melanie and Courtney Smith from ASQA!

About this session

Forming part of our National VET PD Week, this brand new webinar will provide some fundamental top tips for making validation meaningful!

What does conducting validation mean to you and your RTO?

Let’s think for a moment about what you, your RTO and your team of VET practitioners are actually getting out of engaging with each other during validation events and sharing your expertise.

The VET sector is a fast-moving platform undergoing change.  This change is enabling RTOs to move further and further into a world that operates more successfully when embedding holistic quality and self-assured practices.  With this in mind, it is time to embrace the opportunity to turn our routine validation events into ones that serve us, inform us, support continuous improvement and turn the whole experience into one which is more meaningful for all involved.

By sharing and unpacking some fundamental ‘top tips’, this session represents a more inclusive and ‘best-practice’ approach to conducting assessment validation, that moves you above and beyond compliance requirements.

Got a burning question for ASQA and Melanie about making validation meaningful? They are ready to respond to your live questions and comments at the event, but you can also Click Here to record your question on notice.  (Submissions have now closed)
