19 November 2021
ONLINE

This 90-minute session is one of five available during the 2021 National VET PD Week. This webinar includes 1 hour of content delivery PLUS  30 minute ‘Let’s talk about...’ component where your Live Questions, Questions on Notice and Frequently Asked Questions will be addressed by Marc!

About this session

The final webinar in our National VET PD Week, this session is back based on the fantastic feedback received.  Join Marc Ratcliffe as he provides some real world advice.

Validation is an important responsibility for RTOs. However, it represents some of the highest non-compliances at audit. Leading regular assessment validation activities is therefore critical in confirming that an RTO’s assessment system consistently produces valid assessment judgements and ensures that candidates are assessed against all tasks identified in a unit of competency, and the evidence outlined in the associated assessment requirements.

This webinar will provide specific advice for developing more successful assessment validation activities. This includes working effectively with colleagues to systematically monitor assessment practice, undertaking risk assessment and analysis to determine the purpose, focus and context of validation activities, as well as supporting others through the validation process. In the end it will offer guidance on how to finalise documentation in keeping with required validation schedules.

Got a burning question for Marc about leading validation activities?  He is ready to respond to your live questions and comments at the event, but you can also Click Here to record your question on notice.  (Submissions have now closed)
