TAE PD Week: Conducting Effective Validation Activities

5 December 2024 10:00am (AEST: QLD)
Online via Zoom Webinar

This webinar forms part of our TAE PD Week hosted by Velg Training and MRWED.  It aligns with the unit of competency TAEASS413 - Participate in assessment validation.

About this webinar

Validation is an important responsibility for RTOs. However, it represents some of the highest non-compliances at audit.

Engaging with industry stakeholders in the validation process is critical to ensuring assessment is aligned to current methods, technologies, products, and performance expectations for the workplace tasks specified in the relevant training package or VET accredited course.

This webinar will provide specific examples and advice for creating a winning industry-focused validation strategy aimed at developing better systems and outcomes.

It will also provide a host of support resources to get you on the right track!

Key topics covered within webinar

  • Name assessment validation responsibilities of an RTO.
  • Identify the characteristics of a systematic validation system.
  • Describe how to conduct validation activities effectively.
  • Identify appropriate schedules and templates to support the process.
