NVPDW: Reasonable Adjustment: What is Reasonable, What is Not?

17 October 2024
Online via Zoom Webinar

This webinar that forms part of our 2024 National VET PD Week is presented by Coleen Rivas (who achieved an average score of 4.1/5 stars at the #2023NVC).  She aims to provide RTOs and assessors with clarity about what types of adjustments are reasonable, and what are not.

RTOs are obligated to provide reasonable adjustments under the legislation.
The Standards for Registered Training Organisations also include requirements to provide support services to individual learners and ensure assessment is fair by providing reasonable adjustment where appropriate.

  • What if the program is not suitable? What if the learner wants to enrol anyway?
