About this webinar

The Standards for RTOs mandate robust systems for self-assurance, but how do you move beyond policy to effective, day-to-day practice? This session is designed for the 'doers' – the Compliance Staff, Operational Managers, and Training Managers responsible for implementing and actioning your RTO's self-assurance, continuous improvement (CI), and risk management (RM) processes.

We'll dive into the practical tasks required to systematically monitor and evaluate your RTO's performance against the Standards. Discover actionable strategies to:

  • Action Self-Assurance Processes: Unpack the 'doing' of self-assurance (Std 4.4a, 4.4b, 4.4c). We'll discuss practical methods for monitoring and evaluation, determining frequency, and effectively using data and analytical results to inform your RTO’s operations and compliance.
  • Embed Continuous Improvement: Learn how to effectively use outcomes from industry consultation (Std 1.2b), pre-use review and validation (Std 1.3c, 1.5g), feedback, complaints, and appeals (Std 2.7, 2.8) to inform and drive meaningful improvements.
  • Implement Proactive Risk Management: Explore practical approaches to identifying, reviewing, and mitigating risks related to students (including those under 18), staff, and the organisation (Std 1.5c, 4.3a, 4.3d).

Join us for a 90-minute dive into the practical mechanics of self-assurance. Walk away with a clearer understanding of the tasks involved and practical approaches to ensure your RTO not only meets its obligations but thrives through a culture of proactive quality management.
