Your Certificate of Completion is issued from (and accessible through) the Thinkific Platform immediately upon completion.
This session explores how RTO staff can respond to student distress appropriately and confidently using the Notice → Ask → Respond framework, while maintaining clear professional boundaries.
Drawing on DEWR guidance on student mental health and wellbeing, the session will consider early warning signs, cohort-informed approaches, escalation pathways, and the importance of staff wellbeing when supporting students experiencing distress.
It is designed to help participants understand their role within a whole-of-RTO approach to student wellbeing and feel more confident navigating difficult conversations and support situations in everyday practice.

Once you're enrolled, you have 90 days to complete your MLB Recording via our LMS platform - Thinkific.
You will be sent a confirmation link via email (just like any other Velg Training event) and this link will connect you to the Thinkific platform. You simply need to input your username and create a password.
Once logged into Thinkific, your MLB recording will be visible on the dashboard
This asynchronous PD activity won't appear in your VET PD profile - but your Certificate of Completion is issued instantly upon completion of the course.
Please note: The 'Date Issued' on your Certificate is recorded in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). For local Australian time, please add the relevant time offset (e.g., +9.5 hours for ACST)
AEST is equal to UTC plus 10 hours (UTC +10)
