Your Certificate of Completion is issued from (and accessible through) the Thinkific Platform immediately upon completion.
Training Package reform was reshaping the VET landscape, and Template B was at the centre of this shift. The new Applied Knowledge and Skills template moved beyond task-based units and introduced broader, capability-focused outcomes that demanded a fresh approach to delivery and assessment.
This session gave RTO leaders and practitioners a clear, practical understanding of what Template B was, how it differed from traditional unit structures, and what it meant for designing and implementing learning and assessment. Through real examples, simple frameworks, and a short interactive activity, participants learned how to interpret Template B units, build capability-rich learning experiences, and confidently deliver training aligned with the future direction of VET.

Once you're enrolled, you have 90 days to complete your MLB Recording via our LMS platform - Thinkific.

Julie Healy is an experienced vocational education leader with over 28 years’ experience in governance, regulatory compliance and quality assurance, and training and assessment resource development. She has held executive responsibility for oversight of large, multi-sector qualification portfolios within one of Australia’s largest public RTOs, ensuring alignment with national training package requirements and regulatory standards.
Julie has most recently been working on the redevelopment of qualifications and units of competency under the Training Package Operating Framework. Her experience across multiple training packages provides strong insight into structural similarities and contextual differences between qualifications, supporting informed analysis of portability, equivalence and packaging logic within reform initiatives.
