Providing Evidence of TAE Currency

June & July
ONLINE

Through a commitment to ‘Building Quality in VET’, Velg Training is offering an affordable professional development opportunity via a webinar series held over 11 weeks. This series has been designed to guide trainers and assessors through the process of gathering evidence towards currency against the units of competency from TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

While this is not a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process, the discussions around the types of evidence you should collect for TAE currency may assist in understanding the kinds of evidence that could be included in an RPL application.

Coverage has begun with a complimentary webinar outlining the series and how it applies to RTOs and trainers and assessors on 12 May 2017. Subsequent sessions will include all nine (9) core units plus the elective BSBCMM401 Make a presentation.

The key concepts of each unit of competency will be discussed, outlining the significant content to take note of, any evidence that can be gathered towards currency and other activities that can be undertaken by trainers and assessors to contribute.
