National Code 2018 - What's out What's in?

23 Nov 2017

The new National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018, comes into effect 1 January 2018 and you must be compliant by this date!

Join Debbie Phipps from Rainbow Connextions Pty Ltd, as she delivers her workshop to help work through the requirements of the new Code.

Legislation can be a tad boring but I will  make it as  fun as we can while ensuring you walk away knowing all of the changes you need to make before 1 January.

Come along to this Workshop to explore the differences between the two codes  and what this means for you.  Walk away with workable ways to update your policies/procedures, handbooks and forms to ensure you are compliant in time for the new year.

Key topics covered in the session

  • Old ~ New the Key changes
  • Standard by Standard Policy and Procedures
  • Student Handbook - more detail needed
  • Agreements, forms and templates - what you need to update

Bring along your laptop or ipad and feel free to make changes as we go to get a good kick start on getting your organisation up to date. You will have access to Velg Training WiFi to visit the hyperlinks provided, on the day.
