As part of Velg Training’s vision, to educate, inspire and empower Australia's VET community, the Validation Directory allows RTOs to simply search for other RTOs who have opted into the program with a similar scope and validation requirements.
The Velg Training VET Directory is a searchable database of organisations and consultants that specialise in Vocational Education and Training (VET) products and services. Our aim is to provide a resource for finding a wide range of products that can be browsed by specific search parameters.

|Are your assessment materials pitfall free?|
Consistently one of the most challenging aspects for RTOs to ‘get right’, assessment is the crux of accredited training. Why then, is this fundamental element of vocational education so difficult to master?
When it comes to designing how evidence of competency will be collected and judged, assessment development needs to ensure all the right boxes can be ticked.
Join Michelle Charlton as she discusses some of the more common pitfalls in assessment design and development, and find out if your RTO needs to avoid any traps.
At the end of the session, participants should be able to answer the question: "What makes a 'good' assessment tool?", and be able to identify (and avoid!) common pitfalls in the design and development process.
