What will be covered within the webinar

Assessment Quality, seems to be somewhat a buzz-word across the VET sector in recent months. ASQA’s audit process has always been assessment centric, and they have in the past stated that “Assessment is the gatekeeper of quality in the VET sector”. So with an undeniable impetus for Quality assessment (tools & practices) within the VET sector, why do we continue to see such high numbers for assessment compliance (75% non compliant) for RTOs audited.

This webinar looks to paint a picture of what “quality” is, in respect of vocational assessment, and also present a clear model, clarifying the impact of poor quality. From this context we will review the Rules of Evidence and Principles of Assessment to conclude why they are relevant and how practices such as these and assessment validation, contribute to the greater good of assessment quality.
