Engaging Learners Through the Universal Design for Learning Principles

13 February 2019
ONLINE

Feedback from our 2018 NVC said this session was fantastic! It "Showed a better way to engage with all learner" and was presented by an "Excellent Speaker!"   Velg Training are proud to offer this session via webinar.

Join Jane Goodfellow as she explores the Universal Design for Learning (UDL), a framework for teaching and learning based on neuroscience which guides trainers in the development of learning materials, assessments and learning environments. The key difference to this approach is the increased access to learning that UDL provides for a multiple range of students.

Jane will look at the principles that guide UDL classrooms and provide practical strategies for trainers to improve opportunities for learning with a focus on students with diverse learning needs.

This presentation will challenge participants to think about their training from a different viewpoint and ready to try something different!
