Alex Wu

Consultant

Alex Wu is a Senior Educational Consultant based in Sydney, Australia. He comes equipped with a decade of scientific research and 15 years of teaching experience within academia, spanning across secondary, higher, and professional education sectors. Alex specializes in designing e-learning solutions, best practices, and effective implementation strategies for digital learning platforms.

Prior to joining Blackboard, Alex was a research group leader and lecturer at The University of Melbourne, teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses using various e-learning tools. He also successfully integrated elements of digital learning platforms into the management of his research group to encourage collaboration and communication. During his tenure, Alex honed his consultancy skills by taking lead in a technical and management consultancy initiative at The University of Melbourne, delivering technical, strategic, and management solutions for domestic and international clients.

Before his academic appointment, Alex worked with various institutions and organizations to develop and implement their hybrid and online learning environments. Most notably, he facilitated St John Ambulance Australia in the development of a national safety awareness curriculum using e-learning tools. Alex also played a pivotal role in expanding an educational start-up across all major cities in Australia by integrating online course content into a standardized national science curriculum.

As a strong advocate for technology-enhanced learning and equipped with years of experience in the education sector, Alex will ensure that your implementation of digital learning solutions is aligned with your strategic vision. He will work closely with you to bestow industry best practices in change management and implementation, and provide strategic guidance where necessary to deliver a holistic solution for your e-learning needs.
