The revised Standards for Registered Training Organisations are now in place. They will come into full regulatory effect from 1 July 2025.

Please note this webinar recording may reflect the Standards for RTOs 2015 which still apply until 1 July.

Coming into regulatory effect from 1 July 2025, will be the revised Standards for RTOs, comprising of:

• Outcome Standards – outcome-focused requirements that go to the heart of quality training and assessment.
• Compliance Requirements – administrative requirements (including the Fit and Proper Person Requirements and NRT Logo Conditions of Use Policy) that support integrity in the sector and must be met by RTOs to maintain registration. 
• Credential Policy (https://content.training.gov.au/sites/default/files/2025-03/Credential%20Policy.pdf) – an enforceable policy that operates alongside the Standards and outlines the credentials required for delivering training and assessment and undertaking validation of assessment.

Bio of presenters:

Leonie Davis worked with Velg Training from its inception for 8 years, providing QLD Schools and RTO consulting services, developing and delivering professional development workshops and webinars, and being the Director of Client Services until 2012.

She then worked at a private RTO specialising in Traineeships, RPL, and diploma-level training products. During those five years, she held the positions of QLD State Operational Manager and Director of Learning and Development.

Leonie returned to Velg Training in 2017 and is the Director of Operations.
