The VET Quality Framework (VQF) is a set of standards and conditions used by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA), the national VET regulator, to assess whether registered training organisations (RTOs) under its jurisdiction meet the requirements for registration. To obtain and retain registration, RTOs must comply with each of the elements and their associated components.

Quality Area 2: VET Student Support

Quality Area 2 comprises five focus areas and eight standards that go to the supports provided by RTOs to enable VET students to succeed in their training.

VET quality framework (Vqf) - Western Australia

The VET quality framework (WA) is adapted from the Commonwealth legislative instruments into their own 'iterations' and classified as policies, registration standards, and requirements.

Compliance Standards

The Compliance Standards set out requirements relating to accountability, integrity of nationally recognised training products, and information and transparency that RTOs must meet at all times to protect VET students and support the integrity of Australia’s VET sector.
