Training Package Development

Certification

Certification is formal confirmation of a person’s competency, this means there must be steps taken to maintain the integrity of an RTO’s processes for issuing this official documentation.

Training and Assessment Strategies (TAS)

A TAS is a framework that identifies the structure for the way in which a training product is delivered to learners and the way assessment will occur.

Assessment - Standards 1.3, 1.4 and 1.5

Standards 1.3, 1.4 and 1.5 relate to the focus area of assessment.

Informing Learners

Prospective students must be given clear, accurate and timely information to make informed decisions about their training, and must be advised on whether the training product is suitable for their skills and abilities before they enrol.

Training Packages

Designed to be industry and sector skills specific, Training Packages are an integrated set of nationally endorsed Units of Competency, AQF qualifications and assessment guidelines that outline the expected outcomes of training.

Student Enrolment

Certain information is required from students when they enrol and are formally admitted to a course of study.
