What is the QLD Schools VET Conference
In 2017, Velg Training will be holding a Conference specifically for Queensland School RTOs. Attendees will have access to a range of up-to-date information by leading industry experts.
The program for this event supports Queensland School RTOs to identify the changes that they will need to make within their organisation using the Standards for RTOs 2015 and assist VET teachers in implementing up-to-date assessment practices and understanding compliance documentation.
In 2017, there will be two streams at the Conference, catering to both RTO Managers and VET Teachers. So register your place today and join Velg Training as we take you through a series of the most relevant, topical professional development which will keep you abreast of the VET sector changes in 2017 – places are limited at the peak event of VET PD for schools in Queensland!

"Each presentation well timed - comprehensive but not too long."
L Humphrey - Boonah State High School

K Hamilton - Glenmore State High School
"Interaction with others, updates in the VET sector that I was not aware of."
C Bullock - Gilroy Santa Maria College
"Expert presenters and facilitators."
M Lindley - Volunteering Queensland Inc
"Plenary session was excellent with lots of take-away action tips to use with our staff in schools, some of whom are very resistant to the constant change in VET and education and training in general. There was a good buzz in the venue with lots of networking, and interaction with exhibitors. The venue was very easy to access - especially if you travelled by train. The printed handouts were very welcome to review and share with staff back at school after the summit."
S Gregory - St Columban's College
"Kerri Buttery - wealth of knowledge. Good to hear from QCAA Mark Maddox."
N Brandis - Helensvale State High School
"Section 3 - Role of RTO manager was engaging and useful. It was practical and gave useful information for what we need to do our job well."
L Calero - Citipointe Christain College
