This Speed Training event provides the opportunity for you to register for a bundle of 4 x 45-min webinars and gain some real insights from our VET expert about contextualisation of assessment.

Can't attend all 4 webinars live? Don't worry! Register for the package of 4, attend those that suit your schedule and you will be sent the recordings for any you missed. Watch them within 2 weeks of the live event, contact the Velg Training Events Team to advise you have completed them, then you will be issued with a Certificate of Completion.

Let's start with contextualisation fundamentals

This first session from our Speed Training event will explore the importance and benefits of contextualisation. It will identify the requirements of the Standards for RTOs 2015 and unpack why contextualisation is so important to both learners and employers.

The 'how-to' of contextualising resources

In this session, Coleen will unpack the clarification of the context, the specific steps for contextualisation and explore a variety of strategies and techniques to contextualise resources.

Session 3

Ensuring the quality of contextualised resources

Our third session is designed to highlight the importance of ensuring the integrity of assessment. Participants will look at the key quality requirements to be considered when conducting quality checks of contextualised tools and will review an actual example of a fully contextualised resource.

Determining the contextualisation requirements for an identified cohort

In the final session from our Speed Training event trainers will develop skills in contextualising learning and assessment. In this interactive session, participants will work together to review resources and identify appropriate strategies for an identified cohort.
