Consultation on zero enrolments – potential deletions

Qualifications and Units of Competency from the Electrotechnology Training Package with zero enrolments over the last three years have been identified for potential deletion.

The Electrotechnology IRC is now seeking feedback on this proposal.

You can view the list of the identified Training Package components and provide feedback here.

Feedback is welcome from Friday, 7 December 2018 until Sunday, 13 January 2019.

IRC Industry Skills Forecast Survey

AIS is seeking industry input to assist the Industry Reference Committees (IRCs) that we support to develop the important Industry Skills Forecasts. On behalf of those IRCs, stakeholders are invited to provide feedback (by Monday, 14 January 2019) via the methods below:

  • IRC Industry Skills Forecast Survey:
    • This survey is designed to gather feedback from stakeholders about a range of issues affecting your industry. This information will be used to develop the industry outlook for each sector and identify any new or emerging skills.
    • The survey can be completed online and should take no more than 5-10 minutes.
  • Call for Submissions:
    • The intelligence gathered during this process will assist IRCs to formulate their advice to the Australian Industry and Skills Committee (AISC) on industry priorities, skill shortages, and will inform future discussions about updates to Training Packages.
    • You can provide access to recent reports or answers to key questions by completing the online form.
    • Each IRC is required to submit an IRC Skills Forecast to the AISC by 30 April 2019.
