Whether it's figuring out how to collect evidence to meet unit requirements, knowing who can be involved in the assessment process, understanding the type and quantity of evidence required, or making a judgment on competency for train and assess, or assessment only pathways, assessment is one of the most challenging aspects of RTO operations.

And yet, it's the natural - and necessary - progression from training in a system of competency-based training and assessment.

This April, Velg Training is hosting the 2019 Assessment Focus Week.  Hear from a speaker-a-day on some of the more topical assessment-related issues and stay abreast of current information related to the vocational training and learning that can inform your practice.

Topics will be:

  1. Assessment: The Big Picture - John Dwyer
  2. Assessment Tools: The essential ingredients - Michelle Charlton
  3. An Auditors Perspective: How much evidence is enough - David Garner (ASQA)
  4. Capturing Quality Evidence: Third Party Reports - Kerri Buttery
  5. RPL: What IS the Professional Conversation? - John Price
