Skilling for Tomorrow

Skilling for Tomorrow image

The National Centre for Vocational Education Research has released a new discussion paper which explores the changes to the world of work drawing on key findings from a number of national and international papers.

‘Skilling for Tomorrow’ was released by NCVER to align with their National VET Research Conference theme, and as a tool to further inform their delegates about some of the latest research and insights along the themes of exploring, translating and evolving for tomorrow’s skills.

The paper provides a summary of research and discussion on the future world of work, drawing out points relevant to the theme of the 26th National VET Research Conference ‘No Frills’ — Skilling for tomorrow. It explores the drivers changing the world of work, the skills we’re predicted to need in the future and what this means for training. The paper aims to encourage conversations and discussions on the question of your role in skilling for tomorrow.
