Australian Apprenticeships - A Need To Know For Employers

The Australian Apprenticeships and Traineeships Information Service (AATIS) have launched their nationwide digital information sessions which are going to be held as interactive workshops. 

They are divided into two workshops:

• a breakfast session on ‘What employers want to know about Australian Apprenticeships’ and 
• a mid-morning session on ‘An overview of AATIS resources'.

Join them live for the breakfast session where they will launch the preliminary results of their research around the most important information that employers need when taking on an apprentice or trainee. This session is a must-attend for anyone working directly with employers, including staff from AASNs, GTOs, RTOs, employment services, and schools.

The second mid-morning session would be an official launch of the first series of AATIS videos, showcasing some of the widely used AATIS resources and how to access/use them. This session is meant for anyone new to the apprenticeships sector or anyone looking for free resources about Australian Apprenticeships including staff from AASNs, GTOs, RTOs, government departments, employment services providers, and careers advisers and school staff.

State-specific sessions will be held between 18 November and 3 December, and an Australia-wide session on 8 December. Since these are interactive workshops, there are limited seats available, and anyone interested is encouraged to sign-up to ensure their spot.
