Love to Focus Your DIY Skills on eLearning Essentials?

Our ever-popular Focus Weeks are a dedicated week of learning opportunities (one webinar per day) specifically designed to increase the knowledge and skills of VET practitioners in targeted topics.

Our sixth Focus Week is committed to providing you FIVE 90-minute sessions to choose from, each focused on the currently trending topic of DIY eLearning Essentials.

The worldwide pandemic in 2020 meant a rapid shift to online learning for many training providers who, at that time, had little or no training in effective online learning design and delivery.  

In 2021, it is time to move past crisis mode and further build on the enormous efforts of training organisation staff. To make the most of the situation, it is time to review and evaluate the resources that were developed in 2020.

Held between 24-28 May 2021, our DIY eLearning Essentials Focus Week has been informed by feedback from our members with 2020 survey results showing that, when asked what types of topics our members would like to see in 2021, responses could be grouped into the following categories:

• Designing engaging online content

• Using activities in an LMS Platform

• Interactive tools/resources to use with students to keep them engaged whilst teaching/delivering content online

• Virtual Classroom activities and facilitation skills

Showcasing five content-rich, 90-minute webinars over five days, each webinar is focused on a different aspect of eLearning, with each of the 5 topics aimed at complementing and increasing existing knowledge.
