SIR Retail Services V3.0 Endorsement
SkillsIQ, under the direction of the Wholesale, Retail and Personal Services Industry Reference Committee (IRC), prepared a Case for Endorsement seeking endorsement of new and revised Retail Services training package products. At its July 2017 meeting the Australian Industry and Skills Committee (ASIC) approved the Case for Endorsement and associated training package products, inclusive of:
- Two qualifications:
- SIR50217 Diploma of Retail Merchandise Management
- SIR50317 Diploma of Visual Merchandising
- Three new Skill Sets
- Thirty new and revised Units of Competency and associated Assessment Requirements.
These training package products and associated Companion Volume Implementation Guide (CVIG) are now available on training.gov.au. The CVIG provides advice and guidance to support the implementation of the training package.
