Help Forge a Trusted Future: Present at the 2026 National VET Conference

We are seeking passionate experts, innovators, and leaders to share their insights at Australia's premier VET event. Your expertise is a critical component in forging a trusted future for our sector—building confidence in our learners, industries, and the community.

This year, we have designed our Call for Presenters process to be simple, collaborative, and focused on partnership. Our new three-stage journey is designed to make it easy for you to share your great ideas and to provide you with dedicated support from acceptance to delivery.

Our New Three-Stage Presenter Journey

We've structured our process to respect your time and ensure the highest quality experience for you and our delegates.

Stage 1: Share Your Idea (Expression of Interest)

Deadline: Monday 16 March 2026

This initial step is about your session concept. If you're looking for ideas we have a few suggestsions from 2025 attendees  - but the world is your oyster when it comes to topics!

Importantly, we've streamlined the application to be quick and focused, allowing you to submit your great idea without the heavy paperwork.

All you need to provide is:

  • Your Presenter Profile (Bio & Headshot)
  • Your Proposed Session Title
  • A brief Session Overview (your core idea)

That's it! Our selection will be based on the strength of your topic and your expertise.

Stage 2: Formal Invitation & Onboarding

Successful applicants will receive a formal invitation to present. This stage is where you officially join the #2026NVC presenter team. Upon acceptance, you will be guided through a simple onboarding process which includes:

  • Completing a Presenter Confirmation Form to finalise session details and logistics.
  • Reviewing and accepting the Presenter Agreement, which outlines our partnership commitments.
  • Receiving the comprehensive Presenter Handbook, your go-to guide for everything from slide design to the on-the-day experience.

Stage 3: The Partnership Journey

We believe that supporting our presenters is the key to a world-class conference. Our commitment to you is a collaborative partnership to ensure your presentation is polished, compliant, and powerful. This journey includes:

  • A Personal Onboarding Call: A brief one-on-one Zoom meeting to welcome you, walk through key deadlines, and answer your initial questions.
  • A Mid-Point Check-In: A quick touchpoint to ensure you're on track and to offer support.
  • A Final Pre-Submission Touch Base: A final check-in to ensure your submission will be smooth and successful.

This structured support ensures clarity, prevents last-minute stress, and helps us work together to deliver an exceptional session for our delegates.
