The Standards use the term “direction” to describe the arrangement where a person is working under the responsibility of a qualified trainer or assessor. It applies when a person does not yet hold the required credentials to deliver training or make assessment judgements.

On Wednesday, 19 April 2017, the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) hosted a TAE implementation webcast that provided information on how the National Vocational Education and Training (VET) regulator is assessing applications for the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
