2021 QLD Schools VET Conference

With the impacts of COVID-19 Velg Training was unable to facilitate our traditional face to face event in 2020.  We have also just been advised by QLD Government, that Brisbane will remain in lockdown on the 6th August 2021.

We are pleased to confirm however that the 2021 Queensland Schools VET Conference Recordings can still be purchased.  Simply contact events@velgtraining.com for post event access to recordings.

Velg Training has been providing services for Queensland Schools since 2003, so we have learned from what you value most! The Conference's streams cater to RTO Managers, VET Teachers, Principals, Deputy Principals and Career Counsellors/Advisers. It offers relevant, topical professional development that is specifically designed for Queensland Schools.

The program has been built as a direct result of 2019 attendee feedback with sessions broken into three streams of learning. Content has been developed under the themes: Future Vision, RTO Management and Training & Assessing.

We have been mindful that due to the unpredictable nature of the pandemic, and the uncertainty around border closures and maximum event sizes, we needed to take a proactive approach to being prepared for partial or complete lockdown. Our mitigation strategy has been to ‘prepare for the worst”.  

We have spent a lot of time and effort in trying to ensure that we still have the ability to provide you with access to top quality professional development and we hope that the ability to access every single session recording (14+ hours of PD) is something that you will find beneficial.

For those who already registered for the Face to Face event - You have been emailed by our CEO Michelle Weaver:
 
Registered delegates unable to attend the face to face event can be rest assured they will automatically be transferred to the Recordings On Demand Ticket which will give access to the video recordings from all sessions, for access for 30 days post event. This will allow them to view all program content at a time that suits them.

For those who have purchased or wish to purchase the Recordings On Demand Ticket:

Access to your Recordings on Demand will be provided to you via a link to a Landing Page where the Program is mirrored. This link will be provided on Thursday 5th August 2021..
You will have access to pre-recorded sessions as each session commences. At the start time of each session, the row of session recordings associated with that time slot will be opened and made available for you to choose, on-demand, which you would like to view.

As this is a live website page, you will need to refresh your page before commencing the next session.

  • Individual bandwidth will determine the speed at which the following videos play.
Access to the Recordings on Demand program recordings will be available for 30 days after the event – so if you can’t watch them all on Friday 6th don’t worry!
