As part of Velg Training’s vision, to educate, inspire and empower Australia's VET community, the Validation Directory allows RTOs to simply search for other RTOs who have opted into the program with a similar scope and validation requirements.
The Velg Training VET Directory is a searchable database of organisations and consultants that specialise in Vocational Education and Training (VET) products and services. Our aim is to provide a resource for finding a wide range of products that can be browsed by specific search parameters.
2 - 4 June 2018
ICC Sydney, NSW
|WorldSkills Australia is a social enterprise that passionately believes skills drive the future of young people, and of Australia. Since 1981 they have been the leading voice for skills excellence in vocational, technological and service oriented careers in Australia. They have raised the awareness of hundreds of thousands of young Australians and their parents, industry and employers, that our nation’s future depends on effective skills training systems.|
WorldSkills Australia will be hosting the Skills Show Australia 2018 here at the ICC next June 2 – 4. Forecast to attract over 20,000 visitors, industry leaders, experts and top education providers, the Skills Show provides visitors with the opportunity to discover future career pathways through interactive events, demonstrations and competitions. It will proudly play host to the most prestigious skills and trade event: the WorldSkills National Championships 2018. Over three days, selected Regional Competition winners will bring their best to the national stage to compete against their industry peers from around the country. Throughout the National Championships there will be over 500 competitors across 60 skills, with an expected 20,000 visitors to attend the event over the 3 days.
We are very proud to announce our partnership with WorldSkills Australia - together we will launch a new opportunity throughout the Skills Show, the Skills Pathway Expo.
Throughout the event, visitors will experience skills based activities with industry experts in an interactive, hands-on and experiential fashion. They will get to see firsthand, techniques and tools involved with a variety of skills and trades and learn about the pathways they can take through available courses and employment options.
As this exciting Skills Pathway Expo will be taking place during the Skills Show, it will make this event the largest skills based exhibition solely for the VET sector in 2018. The Skills Pathway Expo will connect pathway seekers (students, school representatives, career advisors, parents and adult learners) directly with skills and vocational pathway providers.
This event is a pre-approved professional development opportunity offering 25 Right Way Professional Development Points.
