Enhancing Academic Outcomes for All Students Using Digital Tools
Join Greg O’Connor to hear REAL ideas that can actually be implemented to support learners. Greg has been actively involved in supporting learners across all levels of education for over 30 years. During this time, he has worked as a classroom teacher, school executive, consultant, regional manager with the New South Wales Department of Education, and technology coach.
In his session on using digital tools to enhance academic outcomes, Greg shares practical strategies using digital tools to ensure that all students, regardless of the barriers that currently exist for them around the literacy demands of vocational education, are actively engaged in their own learning.
He’ll discuss topics including:
- Students with diverse learning needs
- Access to understanding
- Supporting further and higher ed students
- Assistive technology
- Giving learners the power to act
- Universal design for learning
