What are Some of the Exciting New Features Coming for training.gov.au?

The National Training Register Enhancement Project is improving the infrastructure and technology that underpins the national register.

The NTR Enhancement Project includes 4 key components:

• enhancing the training.gov.au website
• improving the Training Package development process
• building the Training Package Content Management System
• modernised web services.

The new TGA website is scheduled for release in the first half of 2024 and will feature more powerful reporting tools, improved navigation, and a mobile-responsive design. 

Some of the exciting new features of training.gov.au include:

• A new modern interface that is fully mobile responsive
• Improved search and filtering functions
• An improved comparison tool
• Status indicators and opt-in email notifications for when training products are under review
• Additional codified data fields, including:
  • Unit pre-requisite
  • Licensing/regulatory information
  • Specialisations
  • Work placement hours
  • Qualification entry requirements
  • Transition dates at the component level
• Expanded help and intuitive user tips within the system
• Downloadable reports based on search and filtering
• Direct access to current Companion Volumes
