The 66th Annual Victorian Training Awards nominations have opened for 2020 as are the 2020 NSW Training Awards.

Victoria

The Victorian Training Awards recognise outstanding achievements across a range of providers in the training sector.  Of the 16 categories this year, six are for individuals, four for industry employers, four for training and community organisations, and one each for an Industry Collaboration Award and the Lynne Kosky Memorial Award for Lifetime Achievement.

Collaborations of previous award recipients has led to the creation of a pathway to employment for young people with disability.  The VIC Minister for Training and Skills, Higher Education the Hon. Gayle Tiernay says of the Awards: “The Victorian Training Awards don’t just celebrate success – they inspire it”.

To nominate for the 2020 Victorian Training Awards visit their website.  Applications close at midnight on 5 June 2020.

New South Wales

Now is your chance to nominate either an individual or an organisation in the 2020 NSW Training Awards.

Training Services NSW has opened the nomination portal for this year’s Awards for the achievements of students, trainers/teachers, training organisations, large and medium employers.  There are twelve categories in the NSW Training Awards.  Seven of these award categories are for individuals, with five being for organisations.

There are eligibility requirements for nominations, which are available within the nomination portal.  If there’s a training organisation, student, teacher or employer that you feel is deserving of recognition, nominate them now.  The closing date for nominations is 13 March 2020 – so be quick!
