This year’s theme, ‘More Than You Know’, focuses on shifting pre-conceived ideas and raising the status of Vocational Education and Training (VET). This report has been developed by the National VET Equity Advisory Council (NVEAC) to provide baseline information on the participation, achievement and transitions from the Australian Vocational Education and Training (VET) system for six groups in the Australian population: Indigenous Australians; people with a disability; people from a culturally and linguistically diverse background; people living in remote areas; people from low socioeconomic status backgrounds; and women.

Skills Service Organisation (SSO), Australian Industry Standards (AIS), has partnered with RMIT University to identify workforce digital skills requirements and examine the capacity of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector to effectively meet the growing demand for digital skillsets. AIS invites stakeholders in the public safety, corrections, transport and logistics, aviation, rail and maritime industries to take part in a short, ten-minute survey to assist with this research.
